No matter how advanced your equipment becomes, it will always breakdown eventually, especially if used in combat.
About this creation

Here we see a salvage team comprised of a Marine Squad and a Combat Engineer team. The squad has secured the area, and the engineers are surveying the damage to the Katana, seen here configured as a mainline soldier.


This Katana was downed by enemy infantry anti-armor rockets. The first round blasted the torso, the second hit the knee and smashed it. Subsequent hits knocked the right arm off and did further damage to the left hip.

Excellent vignette and makes a very valid point! Oh, and MOCpages won't seem to let me comment on the other Katana MOC pages so I'll just say right here that I think the Katana series is VERY awesome :D
