Port Oxbay 1724
I decided to do pirate stuff for a while and i built big British Caribbean port- i named it Port Oxbay after the same named fictional port in the game "Pirates of the Caribbean" Even when it has a same name as movie series it is independent game - anyway want to know more check it out from wiki but know let's look at my moc- it took many weeks from me to build since school takes most of my time now....
About this creation

Other view of the same moc....

Port area with docks....

Lighting in this pic looks a bit like a fog....sorry i am not very good photographer...

Main street

Fort protecting the city (with 18th century version of Union Jack- of course)

Inside the fort...

There is pirate in the cell waiting to be hanged....

On top of the Fort...

This poor fellow here is warning for pirates- they aren't welcome here....

Fishing guy (my official rod-part is missing i would like to have new one...) and thanks from the hayroof idea for Jack Bittner....

All kind of folk on the mainstreet- boy playing with carriagewheel- swashbuckler, sailor, old man (very far behind) and brooming woman.....

Guy washing the windows of the newly opened store (sign is yet to be painted)

Store inside....

This fruit vendor is far from india- he ran out of spice and start to sell fruits instead...

Butcher and fishvendor- ummm... but where is the fish vendor? -maybe he is that fishing guy on docks- he should look better after his fish....

Different main street view- note the rich gentleman and his young wife (with parasol)...

Insides of the little white house- no one home- but candles burning and cattle on fire- pretty irresponsible XD

Sign of the Tavern- it says: "Rusty Anchor- since 1636" quite an old inn this is...

Tavern is this big tan building (it is actually bigger than the fort XD)

Insides don't look much like this but....

there is many removable parts- like roof....
removing the roof reveals the room inside the tavern....
Door to the room

Upstairs have an balcony too (behind the "curtain")
Then the wall....

And btw the wall has some stuff "hanging on" it like the map and those paintings are slightly modifed versions of those from the lego medieval market village set- i don't have it (sadly- a great set) but i find these decals from net....

..Anyway there is the downstairs an actual tavern itself....

Tavern keeper...

Tavern wench....

Whole upstairs is removable- bringing more light to the downstairs....

Ale or Rum hard for sailor to decide....

Sailors sitting in tavern...

Cellar for finest wines and rums....

Most of my figs in this are purist built- only customdecals are those wigs of gentleman and merchant (and signs, paintings an some papers....) here are some i liked the most:

Oldest man in the town...

Slave with african origin (another one is also working on the docks...)

British grenadier....

Old sailor smoking his pipe...

Fisherman and his boat (he is not supposed to be from middle east- but european who is a bit sunburned...)

I wanted screeching seagulls but lego haven't made them (yet)- so i had to do brickbuilt ones- i hope you like them i also made brickbuilt chicken, rooster and goat....
Brickbuilt Rooster....

And hen on the backstreet- another one is on the mainstreet with her children (yellow and orange studs are together a little chicken XD)

And here is the brickbuilt goat....
Another brickbuilt animal some sort of sea bird....

This merchant sloop met an unfortunate accident when i was picturing this- i repaired it but there can be tiny changes between pics...

I also added many official animals- two horse two dogs many crows and parrots and here is tiny cat chasing gigantic rat (?)(funny unlogic thing in legos)

I also added some strange stuff like this ancient indian cemetary under the ground...

I'm not going to do many more of these big dios very soon and my sw-series' are having a little break now but i continue them still....

Quoting Mister Fang Very, very nice work! You obviously put a lot of time and effort into this creation. The details are great. Have you thought about using the larger picture option when you upload? It would make the numerous pictures easier to see. At any rate, this is a great port!
well you can still click them to look closer- but i know frustrating thanks for a tip i really should use other options....

i love it and i have a tip: if you take pictures with natraul lighting instead of artificial it makes better pics.

Quoting oucho t cactus awesome moc man, so much detail, so man interesting things to look at! and i like those animals, you should make the bar fight from POTC 3 cus it already looks a bit like the tavern you have here
Potc3? you mean 2 the dead man's chest- At world's end has no actual barfight but battle of Singapore and that fight in the Shipwreck cove....

Quoting Cole Fynn I think I am gonna start maing pirate mocs, I am starting to get tired of star wars but I will still buy star wars sets.
It is refreshing to change theme sometimes- i do that about once in the year but i never completely forget anything i like so i return to work with them later on and then it feels refreshing...

Quoting Cole Fynn Awesome ! You should make more pirate mocs ! I think this is your best pirate moc yet. Did you hear that there is going to be a fourth pirates of the carribean movie? Maybe for your next pirate moc you could build a soliders fort. This is a long comment .lol.
Yes i know i hope it will be good "On stranger tides" is it's production name but i think they cannot made it stranger than At World's end and that was not even long compared to my comments ;P
