Snake's Getaway
Snake's pulled off the perfect crime and zooms off in his getaway car. The crime? Stealing the car!
About this creation
✶✶ Police Log: 421
Officer Johnson

Well, that rascal Snake was at it again. It was at the 3rd annual Space car show, and right as the Hammerhead 9000 (it was a beauty, they had tricked it out in every way possible) was sent out to be displayed, Snake slipped past the guards and took it out for a joyride. Another crime was currently in progress involving more than one criminal, and so the police force in the area was stretched thin. I would've handled the situation myself had I not been requested for backup at the other crime! Rubbing my temples, I grudgingly called upon Officer Frenkey to pursue and apprehend Snake. He was overjoyed; I was (as us oldies call it) facepalming.

Being a rookie, Frenkey was only allowed to use the most basic police unit, and even then he accidentally chose the training version! He was able to catch up and keep up with the crook, but he wasn't entirely responsible for being able to arrest him; even with all those eyes, Snake didn't notice his awesome ride had one-eighth of a full tank. What Snake did know, however, was that the ride had a fully-functional ejection seat. Of course, that lasted a mere few seconds. How Frenkey arrested him after that is beyond me.

The end? I don't think so. The little stunt Snake pulled off earned the Hammerhead a stunningly good reputation. Data pulled from the vehicle afterwards revealed just how far the vehicle had traveled on just one-eighth of a tank! Needless to say, I'm surprised Frenkey had caught up to him. Frenkey got a promotion for a job well-done (ugh) but due to his poor handling skills he's still limited to using the standard police unit. Definitely one of those good news/bad news moments for me.

High speed chase action pic!

Here she is, the Hammerhead 9000!

The back. With taillights. Perhaps the most car-like detail on the whole thing! XD
The laser cannons were locked, something Snake found a bit disappointing.

More back. Notice just how many fins are on this baby! *cough*a lot*cough

Driver seat. Could use some work... no one said the Hammerhead 9000 was safe!

EJECT!! Love those flame pieces.

Some shots of the Space Police Training Unit:

One final shot of Officer Frenkey in pursuit of Snake.

Fourth wall commentary (Dang, that's catchy; thanks Phipson!):

Well, a lot of you probably know who Mr. Frenke is and who made him. I, however, did not, so here you go: Dan Church.
His Mr. Frenke folder: Mr. Frenke's Unfortunate Life.

Also, Dan: I am in NO WAY trying to say that Mr. Frenke is half-witted (given that Officer Frenkey is a bit of a klutz). Truthfully, I thought of Mr. Frenke when naming him because of the head choice. :P

P.S.: This MOC was made possible only by the Space Truck Getaway set, which was salvaged pretty quickly after I built it and most of the pieces were fashioned into these two vehicles.

This is cool. Nice ejection pic! That box you built for airspeeder will help your pix a lot, which will make your great builds look even better!

Like most of your SP3 MOCs, this needs to be a real set!

Nice use of that set ! The two vehicles are cool, especially the Hammerhead 9000, which looks very alien. Great job !
