Another defense-based mecha. This one has two additional edges in battle: it can outRUN all infantry, and it can outGUN nearly any artillery.
About this creation

This view shows you the extent of this hardsuit's weapons systems. It's equipped with two plasma cannons and a multi-missile system. All these weapons are long-range. It also has a flexible grabbing claw (which looks shockingly similar to the one on "Gladiator") for manipulation of.. whatever dares to stand in its way.



The backside. On the shoulders you can see the emergency weapon: a prototype ion arc emitter. This fires an ion pulse to a radius of 40 meters, deactivating all machinery within that circle (except itself, of course).



Even heavier than "Gladiator", jets proved unable to lift this large mass. Instead, "Vigilance" employs heel treads to "skate" around the battlefield. This limits the mecha to flat areas.

Great design. It kind of reminds me of an old design from the anime macross. Nice choice of colors.
