AT-ET
This is my new entry for Robo Man's/ Moodswim's Star Wars EU contest. Moodswim changed the contest from just EU to anything goes, so i decided to take advantage of the new rules and build a new type of walker. The AT-ET (or All Terrain Elevated Transport) is a walker that was used after order 66 was issued. So basically it is the missing link between the AT-TE and the AT-AT. They were used in the small amount of time between the end of the clone wars and the rise of the empire. The long legs were extremely weak and were often targeted by enemy forces. The legs were redesigned when the AT-AT was unveiled but the battle of hoth quickly showed that the weak point was still as vulnerable as ever. The AT-ET could carry eight troops(not including the pilot and three gunners)and could carry ten small containers of supplies. Well i hope you like it and as always comments and ratings are greatly appreciated!
About this creation

Here is a shot of the front of the walker.

Here is the twin barreled turbolasers.

Here is the cockpit with the front windshield shut.

Here is the windshield open. The clone on the left is the gunner and the one on the right is the pilot.

Here is the large laser cannon that was also used on the AT-TE. During the clone wars, many clones died while manning the laser cannon on top of AT-TEs. This problem was solved by placing the gunner inside the walker.

Here is one of the legs. This is a major flaw of the AT-ET. The legs were much too skinny to provide a strong and sturdy war machine. Instead of designing new legs for the AT-ET, the third set of legs were merely removed from the AT-TE to lower the cost of production. The leg design was eventually changed for the AT-AT.

Here is one of the side doors.

Here is the ladder closed. Another flaw of the AT-ET was the fact that only the right side of the walker had a ladder for loading troops and supplies. The left side did not have a ladder and was only used for exiting the walker.

Here is the ladder open. I'm kind of proud of the fact that the ladder can fold up and still allow the door to close. This just might be the start of a transformer that actually transforms, but i'm not promising anything :)

Here is an overhead view of the walker.

Here is the back of the walker.

Here is the rear guns.

Here is the roof mounted turbolasers.

And if you look behind the clone sitting at the front, you can see the two gunners at the back. Unfortunately i forgot to put in some kind of access panel to get at the gunners. The one on the left operates the two side laser cannons and the one on the right operates the roof turbolasers.

And finally a quick shot of the underbelly detailing. Sorry about the blurry picture. i had to take the camera off the tripod to get this shot and i can't keep a camera still for the life of me!

Quoting Soccer Ty Very, very nice work as always. I have a quick question; not being a big Star Wars fan myself, and wanting to build star wars lego is very hard... I was wondering if you know of any small star wars walkers that I could create for my squad. Thanks for reading this, you've probably become 19 by now :) ~Ty
Well the smallest I can think of is the AT-RT. You can find anything star wars on the website wookieepedia.com

It's like a TurboTank with legs! Excellent. The many functions of this is very nice, and the amount of detail is immense. The outside look very messy though. But, excellent nonetheless.

Quoting Moodswim . Dude, this is AMAZING! I love how you tied it into the evolution of the AT-AT. The cockpit is great, the greebling is great, the ladder is....great! I love it!
Glad you like it! It was originally going to be a lighter version of the AT-TE but the legs kind of reminded me of an AT-AT so I just went with it.
