Itís the part of town that brings back old memories.
It was a place with soda fountains and five-cent hot dogs in the center of a bustling little town. Stop by the Corner Pharmacy for a newspaper and a bite to eat then head on next door to Annieís Hardware store for that new wrench set. Donít forget to pick up some cash at the Kingís Crown Bank.
Inspired by the vernacular (traditional, locally learned) architecture of small town America.
Glad to see this here, too. You definitely did the Fire Brigade one better on that flag. Maybe I'll have to do a mod on it. Anyway, I love the scale of these buildings, and I think the colors work. They're very eye-catching.
A very nice scene that fits with the Cafe Corner series but does not copy the style. Some of the colors are brighter than I am used to but sometimes I see a real building near downtown and think that no one would believe those colors in the LEGO version of it. Anyway, great job.
Very interesting color combos. I like how you've patterned the bricks and sidewalk tiles, it does look more like local materials and craftsmanship than city buildings where the materials are shipped in in bulk. And those little gap/alleys between the buildings remind me of the buildings where I grew up. Fantastic job.
