Tu-118 Bait
The Tu-118 (NATO reporting name Bait) ,much to the desmay of the pilots, is a heavy fighter-bomber developed to replace the aging Tu-22M6 in Armenian Service.
About this creation
In 2033 the age of the Tu-22M was starting to show. The problem was addressed in two ways. One way was to upgrade the existing bombers to the M6 standard, and the other way was to design a new bomber. The designers wanted to give it more verisitility than the Tu-22M so they downsized it and gave it a cockpit similar to a fighter. The designers did away with the swing wing and gave it set swept wings. It decrease in engine size was compensated for by replacing them with two F-135 engines instead of the older soviet made ones. It's greatest criticism was it's lack of stealth characteristics. However the designs sheer potential as a tactical bomber that can defend it self kept the development going. It is armed with a remote controlled rear 30mm cannon, two remote controlled 50 cal machine guns on top of the fuselage, and has the option for four missile pods on either wing. Each pod carries four short range heat seeking missiles.

Haha. We'll make a 2:1 ratio.

Quoting Dr. Spontaneous Indeed. A few in the arsenal may not be a bad idea. I'll bring it up in the group once my gunship is complete. I plan on making a similar plane and this provides a great reference for what I'm looking for. Would you mind if I borrowed a few of your ideas?
No problem. Just give me a couple of those gunships for half price. ;)

Quoting Dr. Spontaneous I like, I like. Very large and aggressive; the only kind of aircraft I like. :-D Anyhow, the engines seem a bit small for this one, but considering this is LDD, that's understandable. All-in-all, excellent work!
Thanks. Maybe we could arrange for the SSW to buy a few.
