Space Police Pursuit Vehicle
About this creation
If you need to chase down a criminal before they reach the border of human space you need a fast ship. Able to operate in atmosphere or in vacuum the Cheetah is the fastest ship currently in the Space Police flying pool! Equipped with standard police- blasters the ship can stun any flight system and shut down their engines, but unable to capture a criminal the pilot then has to wait for a VX-Falcon or similar holding ship to arrive and take the perp. into custody!

This is awesome! I wish this was a set, I'd go buy it right now! Would you please take a look at this MOC and tell me what you think(http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/123837). I'd really like for a professional Lego designer to tell what they think of my stuff. Thanks. =] ~ J-MAN N

I don't need to tell you that you are a master at manipulating this theme, or bricks in general; it is merely fact. I mostly just wanted to thank you for "Smash n' Grab."

As others have said this almost looks like an official set, it's nicely balanced and looks like great fun to play with. However I don't think it needs a detention cell; it's a hunter killer! Employ it for the most dangerous baddies or for escorts and it'd be perfect.

If this were produced by Lego as an official set, it would be the top Christmas seller fersure. The beauty of this simple little fighter is its design and shape. High swooshability factor.

This is a very aggressive platform! It's mostly thrusters and guns, with a crew compartment tacked on as an afterthought. It looks better suited to interception than regular law enforcement duties. "The last of the V-8 Interceptors". Does Mad Max get to fly it? I guess it's for use against pirates. Attack!

Definitely ample thrust power and firepower! Should put fear in all them bad guys! Did you ever pitch this creation with TLG? It's another winner just like your previous MOCs!

Now make it with more guns and turn it into a superiority fighter!

As my fellow builders have noted, this is a very sleek, fast, and good looking ship. You pointed out a major design flaw yourself though -- the lack of a capture/retention cell, which would greatly improve the utility of the craft as a police vehicle. It looks like there might be room for one behind the cockpit, as in 5973, which is obviously the inspiration for Cheetah.

Spiffing lines, this baby looks good from EVERY angle. My fav parts are the guns, very nice texture with those black Technic connectors.

Mark, this is one fast looking ship! The design is very simple and clean. It fits the part of a Space Police ship very well.

Awesome! I guess when it comes to Space Police vehicles, this one's a cheetah!... *CRICKET CRICKET* I wonder, though: would the Cheetah be able to outrun my Hammerhead 9000??

OMG! Excellent! Those bad guys like Snake and the Twins are not to play with =) It feels good to know that you have created this piece to the Police force! Great work! Really like the design! It reminds of a eagle from the side..I think

Cool that you used the same style of the police spaceship of the 5973. By the way, a creation very close to that LEGO could sell. The shape make me think on ship with the functions you describe, congrats!
