This self designed sportscar is a new alternative to car makers such as Ariel, Caterham, Westfield, Lotus, TVR etc. The SRP V8 is namely a focused driving machine for people who think that Ferraris, Porsches and Lamborghinis are getting a bit too mainstream, heavy and comfortable.

About this creation

I wanted to create a simple yet good looking sportscar. So this Super-Roadster-Project (SRP) is an honest back-to-basic car with a fiberglass body, a steel chassis, rear wheel drive, a six speed manual gearbox and thats it! Power comes from a modern Ford 4.6 V8 engine with around 300 hp in standard trim, but as I’m sure you know this engine will easily put out a lot more. The 300 hp should however be enough to give the car mind boggling performance thanks to the low total weight.

So there we have it: it’s honest, fast and due to the simplicity both beautiful and affordable! What more do you want? Except perhaps from a windscreen. And a roof, and doors..No! Here have some goodbye photos instead!

A nice car you have there. Could do with some more detail, functionality (Opening hood with hinges), and some wider wheel arches. Try to keep refining it and you'll end up with a nice mid-sized car. Well done
