The ACME Siege Tank and Hillside Base
Congratulations on choosing ACME Home Appliances and Global Defense. At ACME, we believe our expertise in domestic home appliances has helped us well in the design and manufacture of high tech weaponry that the world has come to rely on. Drawing heavily on our experience with our famous SPIN-DOCTOR series of top-loading washing machines, and coupled with assistance from our loyal legions of lowest-bidder OE manufacturers, we have achieved the near impossible - a tank apart from the rest. Seen here in its test colours at our secret proving grounds, this quad-tracked high-mobility weapons system is sure to strike fear into our enemy's hearts...
About this creation

At ACME, we believe a picture paints a thousand words. Such is the look of our enemy when confronted with the LD-01...

The LD-01's main armament comprises of the twin-barreled electromagnetic rail gun with a high yield of 2 kilotons of equivalent explosive force. It is thus ideal for long range land bombardment as well as anti-armor engagements when coupled with its advanced array of fire-control systems. At 2 kilotons of explosive yield, accuracy is a moot point ain't it? Just make sure to be on the right end of the weapon....

Coupled with a high output Fuel Cell Hybrid powerplant with 2000bhp, and a versatile 6 speed transmission adapted from surplus parts bin from the 2024 range of ACME pickup trucks, the LD-01 is capable of achieving impressive top speeds of up to 80 km/h with its favourable power to weight ratio, and currently out-accelerates most of its competitors downhill (once again, please see disclaimer for details). Uphill and level ground acceleration values are..ahem...not available as of printing.

Land Dreadnought LD-01, Prototype Land Superiority Weapons Platform.

The best weapon that the least money can buy from the lowest bidder, coming to a war near you!

The ACME siege tank, seen alongside its competitor.

The Siege Tank seen here with extended thermal sleeves and barrel, parked beside the "other" guy....

(Manufacturer's note: No further independent testing was required as the 2 kiloton explosion pretty much made accuracy a moot point.)

As a bonus, ACME will extend the warranty on fuse boxes as they have on rare occasion been blown when firing the main cannon whilst simultaneously using the in-vehicle entertainment system and heated massage chairs, resulting in system-wide failure.

Quoting A. M. epic!!!-love the whole tunnel build and the tank would be a great "construction" vehicle
Heh heh,,you're right. Honestly, it started out as a project to build a quad tracked construction vehicle but a violent streak took over and voila....combat tank :) That's why the yellow color remained. Cheers!

Imagine a fleet of different coloured LD-01s...that would be cool. Now all I need are more Lego parts....am planning to build what's behind that blast door - like a maintenance hangar or something.

Not bad, a little rough in some places, but maybe it's just the colors giving it that appearance. Overall, very good!
