Marco Borsato is today's most famous singer in the Netherlands. I worked with him some years ago. A good reason to build his head in LEGO !

Building his head was preceded by building the contours first.
As you can see, the inside is reinforced.
LEGO fans at LEGO World in Zwolle had a preview of the head in October 2008. But is will be in the 2009 LEGO World edition that the head will be officially presented to the public.
The colours were indeed inspired by two CD's Marco released: "Rood" and "Wit(Licht)". The fact that his company recently went bankrupt had nothing to do with it; but some my indeed find that a funny coincidence...
I have no idea where exactly the head will be put at LEGO World in Zwolle. It's the guys from LEGO Netherlands that make that planning. I'll have to see for myself when I get there (probably on Saturday 24th)
