A few days ago i decided to take a trip over to my local Toy'R'Us to peruse their collection of lego. i stood there staring at the wall of sets for an hour before i got bored and picked up the closest set. The set i grabbed was the 7685 City Dozer. I wasn't completely happy i with my purchase until i got it home and realized how many awesome parts are in it. For some strange reason, as soon as i saw the yellow gears and grey tracks i thought of podracer engines. So, after 24 hours of the dozer sitting on my shelf, i decided it was time to rip it apart and build a pod( i know, sets don't last long when i get ahold of them). Anyway, i hope you like it!

That's a sexy Racer. The cockpit could have been larger, though. |

Awesome! I'm not a big fan of podracers (or ep1) but this is simply AMAZING! I always look forward to what you will build next:) |

No Problem. Yah, It was just the first thing to come to mind when I saw the window, and the fact that you wanted to scrap it for a new one. It would be scale to a '1x1 brick with a stud on top man', like in the ferris wheel set. Could you give me credit for the idea? You don't have to, but It would be nice. :) ~Blake~ |

You could use that Cockpit window for a small scale Slave I, just thought I would mention that. :)
That's an amazing idea! I can't believe I didn't think of that! Well, I know what I'm building next. :) thanks |

Cool, Did you use only parts from the set? I now feel like a have to make one. Thanks Jason!
The majority of the parts are from the set but I used quite a few pieces from my collection as well. |

Really like how you used the tread to make the engine casing, but I feel like the pod itself doesn't live up to those cool engines. However it seems that you just used pieces from the set, which means you have to make do. Overall great job.
I'm not really happy with the cockip either. I'm already working on a better one. |
