Jungle-class Camopede

on Oct 9th i came across a Dark Augusto moc by Da Frizz!. It is a crab-like mech that has trees and plants on it's back. The mech would hide under ground until the enemy approached and then it would pop out of the ground and nuke them! Anyway, i saw that and i just couldn't pass up on the opportunity to build something like it. So, i give you the Jungle-class Camopede. I wanted to go bigger than a crab, so i chose a giant centipede for the design. It follows the same basic idea as Da Fizz's camocrab. It hides underground and pops out when the fleshies get too close. This beast of a mech can reach incredible speeds but it can only unleash it's full fire power if it is in it's battle mode, which takes away most of it's agility.
About this creation

We start our tour of the Camopede with it's head. The head has six photoreceptors and two small laser cannons.

Next is it's legs. It has six legs per side, bringing it to a grand total of twelve legs. Hey, i can count after all!

Here is the legs again.

Next on our tour is the reason it's called the Jungle-class Camopede. This is the jungle themed plantlife that grows on it's back. Noooo! I forgot to put a pond on it's back!

Moving on! Here we have the Camopede in it's battle stance. The Camopede acts like a tarantula and stands on it's back six legs. This makes the machine look much bigger and intimidating.

Here is a side view of it's battle stance.

The head tilts downward when it enters battle mode.

Here are some of the weapons that unfold from it's belly when it enters battle mode. The top two are mortar launchers and the bottom two are machine guns.

These are the two heavy laser cannons.

And finally we have the plant life folded up on it's back when it is in battle mode.

The bottom (underside) could use some smoothing, or greeble work. As for the rest all I can say "Why the heck didn't I come up with that???"

Flawless concept. You could definitely work on beefing up your weaponry though.

this is one of the most unusual and wonderful mechs I've seen. Could use some more work on the underbelly and weapon design, but all the plantlife and the overall look and shape are fantastic

Quoting Moodswim . AWESOME! I love Da Frizz's, but this is a nice evolution of his idea! I'm telling you, you need to make a transforming Transformer.
I'm actually working toward that right now. I just finished a basic moc of WALL.E and I'm going to make changes to him so he folds up. Eventually I will try to build a transforming optimus prime.
