Vendetta Gunship
Ladies and Gentlemen please, would you bring your attention to me. *Ahem* Que the Wagner! Now that you have the appropriate music, you may continue on; Now that you have the proper music for this creation, you may continue onwards:
About this creation

Hey everyone, thanks for stopping in. Today, I'd like to show you my latest creation. I spent every free moment I've had from friday until late last night working on her, and at last she is finished! And so, without further adieu, I present to you kind folks my Vendetta Gunship!

While this particular craft is technically called a Vendetta, it's basically an Imperial Guard Valkyrie with multiple Lascannons (Three sets of TWIN LINKED lascannons, thank you very much.) I've also given this particular Vendetta a name: Deus Ex Divinum, or 'God from the Sky'. The translator I used tells me that divinum is Latin for sky, but if that's wrong please correct me.

Here, we can see the cockpit of my new baby. credit for the origninal concept goes to Aaron. I merely adapted it for my use. Now, this technique may not be perfect for a Valkyrie, but I think it works out better than any of the cockpit pieces I had multiple of.

Here, we can see our pilots: Chuck and Skippy. Chuck is a six-year veteran, and Skippy had some training on a flight simulator. Skippy hasn't been allowed to touch anything since the weapons mishap on Korrida.

Finally, I found a craft that has landing gear that are incapable of folding up! I mean, you only see that in old WW2/1 planes!
... As you can see, I'm very excited about not being able to mess that part up. And yes, the wingtips are clearly off the ground, just like in the GW model!

Yes, these should be VTOL jets, but I got kinda lazy here... I still think it looks good.

We who are gathered here today, to witness the joining of these two souls in Holy Matr- wait a second... I'm not a priest... Man, that couple from last night are going to be MAD.

Ahh, twin-linked Lascannons. They just make me want to swoosh her around the room and strafe everything I can.

So, who else loves antennae that have no obvious use?

Think about it, tires make perfect engines: They make things go, engines make things go, and both spin! Plus they're already round, and I'm a very unoriginal person.

More zap-tasticness (If it's not a word, it should be).

Here we have the Door Gunner, Richard. Richard recently started listening to the voices in his head. Turns out they have tons of great ideas! I mean, he's made 47 kills since then! Four of them were armor kills. None of them were hostiles. This also means, the crew is even more unwilling to speak to him. They started avoiding him after the Kyrios incident. Trust me, it's a day of shame for the entire wing.

Here, we can see some folks getting off.

That's right, the assault ramp closes.

Pictured here is Air Marshall Kilgore. He loves the smell of Napalm in the morning. As a matter of fact, that's what he's drinking. He's one scary man.

Here, we can see the Vendetta next to my AV-98 Ingram, from Patlabor. Poor Alphonse has almost been replaced in my heart, but he's confident he'll outlive the Valkyrie. Who can say?

Here at Hadron Industries, we are proud to say we employ only the best photographers we can lure on-set with a handful of string, a shiny pebble or two, and 9/10 of a Ham Sandwich.

Other Commentary:
I did most of the commentary during my presentation, but there's still some stuff I'd like to say. Anywho, this thing is definately my favorite creation to date. She has a wingspan of around 18 inches, is about 16 from nose to tail (not including the antennae), and is a little over five inches from the tip of her engine pods to the floor. This is pretty darn big for little old me! And what's not to love? She's armed to the teeth, can hold minifigs, has a Classic Space color scheme, and has play features! I think this baby owns my Sentinel. The downside to it is that I had to strip pretty much everything I had built down to basic parts to build it. And I couldn't stop playing with the door gunners... I think that was the biggest delay. Anywho, thanks for stopping by everyone! Please let me know what you think of her, I'd really appreciate any input!

"The Valkyrie" sounds better for a WW1 or WW2 bomber in my opinion, but nice idea ;) Oh, and of course, very nice creation! 5/5

Yes, I read that. YOU, however, unlike some, admit that certain elements don't belong to you and point the readers in the right direction.

@Delta 138: Thanks, that's very kind of you! As for this being the first decent Guard creation, there are some great IG MOCs out there. @Areesta: Thanks! I stole the design concepts myself.

@John: Yes it is. It used to be a two-hundred dollar (IIRC) resin kit, now it's a sixty dollar plastic one. Guess who's going to buy one (or six...) when I have the money? @Max: Good! The Imperial Guard are heavily based on the WW1/2 eras, so it fits perfectly. @Ben: Thanks, I'm glad you like it! @Sebeus: Thank you, I find the music is a nice contrast to the dark universe that is WH40k.

Huh, it IS from WarHammer. I considered making something like this while looking through one of Ian's books. Great job, and the "classic" colors work well.
