The NX-01 "Hammerhead"
This is a Space Police pursuit vehicle. Designed for speed to take out perps in a high speed chase.
About this creation

My original plan was to build a HUGE spaceship. But Chris gave me a good idea (yeah I know shocking!) when he said I should build a miniscale of my current SHIP. It's a giant courthouse about 26 studs high and too many studs long. I didn't apply his idea to the courthouse, but the spaceship instead.

The original was nearly 2 feet long. Way too big and out of my caliber I think. I took the main design idea and slimmed it down to this.

Imagine this sucker chasing you at high speeds. This baby was built for thrust!

The view you don't want to see in your rear view mirror. Armed with a twin barrel plasma cannon, and a fortified nose for ramming there is very little that can stop this. The pilot sits well under the nose under the armor protection while utilizing the latest in sensory devices to help pilot the craft.

While being a great asset to the police force, there are a few who are against the vehicle. Many pilots inadvertently took out buildings and other vehicles while on pursuit. This has led the police to cease purchasing more. However, many officers respect the craft and it's ability and it is still frequently the first called to a chase.

Nice. It looks built along the same line of thought of my very old Star Ram :)

Nice, Heath. Love the front crescent shape design. I could see a fun side-story to this where criminals try to get their hands on these models, soup 'em up, and use them to outrun the cops that once owned them.

This version looks much better than the original that you showed me (although that was very cool too). I like the basic design of the ship and of course, the ship's use holds a special place for me. What's next?! ~ Chris.

I like it, although I can't help but wonder what it might look like with 1x1 slopes there in the hammer. They'd need to be centered, I guess. I think what really grabs me here is the fact that it's basically a cockpit attached to an engine -- zoom, zoom, baby!
