Sub Base
About this creation
Here are some digital scans of some ancient pictures. This is a submarine base I photographed back in 2003. Then, I became even more attatched to my models than I do now, so it's probably at least a year old in these pics. The submariners lived in total seclusion from the surface and spent their days playing chess and fighting off the evil aquasharks.

Here is the entire collection of vehicles and minifigs I built to complement the base.
Lower left: "Aquarius"- primary research vessel and excursion vehicle.
Upper left: "sharkhunter" attack sub- with winglike fins for amazing cornering abilities.
Lower right: "scout"- the name says it all.

The interior of the base.In the middle of the left section is a monstrous tool rack. To its right is a ladder and top hatch. On the roof is a sonar and communications unit. In the right half are the tables where they play chess.

Aquarius excursion vehicle. Another thing which I fiddled with for upwards of a year.

Neat. Have you heard of an old computer game called "Deadly Tide"? It's a Sci-Fi space ship shooter, but it's under water. You might want to look it up, as it could give you some ideas.
