Dark MOColympics R1-Spartan Zer0 vs Eturior
Spartan Zer0 VS Eturior:in Classic Space------------for anyone that doesn't know the definition,it's "anything that looks like its from the 70s or 80s.
About this creation

this is my first big tourniment,so i'm really excited about this!

last monday after school i started brain storming,i was thinking whats classic and spacish? then it hit me The Lunar Landing,it made history as it was the first manned aircraft to ever reach the moon.

right as Neil Armstrong was about to step foot on the moon he said the the famious words we still remember today "one small step for man,one giant leap for man-kind.

i did my best for accuracy as i built this while looking at the lunar's picture.

i was up till 1:00 am finishing the detail for this.i'm mean whats more classic than the Lunar Landing? rofl

if i don't win then i'm going to really practice at building in this style.anyway i had a good time participating.

The module is great, no doubt about it, but the scenery could use some major work. First off, I disagree with the SNOT ground. It looks way too smooth to be something on the moon. There were a few details on the ground, but it didn't really make the cut. I suggest making a scenery with base-plates, having it a bit rugged with more definition. Also, dump the background. It looks a bit strange being propped up behind the base, and the stars look out of proportion. The flag is nice, but the 1x1 stud-less trans blue piece looks weird. Also, a few min-figs wouldn't be bad, but that isn't exactly a must. Now the main problem I'm having is with the theme. It's classic space, and this is technically a classic, but I think we're talking about the little blue and red guys in the plastic space helmets. It's not a bad thing really, but it just keeps on bugging me. Anyway, it's a good creation, but you could make it a great one with more work. I suggest making changes to this, and that's why I'm giving you a 4/5. Nice work, and good luck!

I wanted to add some advice: put the picture of your Apollo lander as the main pic. You'll probably get more views that way.

I applaud you for looking to be creative with the category (like I would). You get my vote.

Your opponent did a closer job at classic space, but your build is far superior. I know how hard accurate replicas are, and you did a great job. Trans-orange for copper - very creative. You've got 2/3 votes so far, and the win!

Very nice MOC and beautiful tribute to Apollo : however, not as much in the "Classic space spirit" than your opponent's entry. Still a great job !

This is VERY well done. And although you may have missed the mark just a little bit with the idea of the category, (we meant LEGO from the 80's) you still get my vote! ~ Chris.

That is really cool, but it doesn't capture the image of classic space all that well. I still think you got this one, despite the lack of classic space.
