Now, as promised, I present you my hand-painted Delta Squad. I had this project in mind for a time and was quite generous about how it would be to paint minifigures. It was obviously to me, that I would need a very thin brush, which couldn' t harm the original decals to bad, and colours, which stick to the smooth surface of LEGO objects.
It took nearly two month of relaxed working, until the last Delta was completely coloured.
First of all, the aerials onto the helmets had to disappear. A file for fingernails did the job perfectly well^^.
As this was done the exciting part began. Mountains of screenshots, the game cover and even the game itself(multiplayer settings) served me as models for my paintings.
My progress was more or less slow. Between work an girlfriend it was not easy to find some quiet hours for this special project^^. But the even more problems came up with the shivering of my hands. Sometimes it took several tries to draw a line of a few millimeters ( and there is a lot of "few millimeters" on a minifigure). When I'd missed the right shape, I had to wipe the paint away and do it again.
During the work on the single figs I became quicker more accurate.
On the whole it was a very interessting and ecxiting experience.Furthermore, I think, my Delta Squad looks quite good next to other custom designed figs. Please rate and comment^^Thanks to all of you

Die sind perfekt! Die Spitze ist sehr glatt weggemacht soweit man es erkennen kann. Die sehen sehr echt aus, also wie im Spiel! Welche Farbe bzw. Stifte hast du verwendet? |

they're good ,but commandos dont have regular clone bodies, the upper part of the body some kind of line that goes down about half way.the gray on scorch's helmet looks a little like a bluish greenish color.other than those things, they look great. |

Awesome. Really nice paint job. If you have gone and either painted on custom plates and or painted them grey first i'd give ti a 6 out of 5 if that were possible. But that is still an awesome paint job and great job on the helmets that this deserves a 5 out of 5 anyway. |

Awesome! This is one of the best Delta Squads I've ever seen. I can totally relate to the troubles of painting. Just check out my Elite Commandos of the 13th Squadron. It was the first (and probably last) time I used paint on minifigs. |
