NEITH Starfighter (6208 alt)
Fear the Bley!
About this creation
This ship was built only from parts in the 6208 B-Wing set, and was created for an FBTB.net contest. Enemies who fear bugs are especially intimidated by its insect-like wings. Bley-haters also cower in fear.

Paul - Hehe, good catch. I was wondering if anyone would notice that. I could place the guns elsewhere so that they wouldn't be hindered, but I felt the overall look of the ship was much more balanced, and they looked less tacked on with them in this spot. If I had more parts, I would've done something quite different. :)

Cover photo. My first attempt at figuring out Photoshop.

Overhead shot, which shows off the ship's insect-like appearance. There were only a few yellow parts in 6208, but I used what was available to make a clean yellow line that runs along the length of the ship, with a perpendicular band behind the cockpit.

Profile shot. The photo didn't come out as well as I'd like, but the side view is actually my favorite view of the model, since it shows off the contoured underside that that moves up to the raised rear cockpit section.

pretty good, my only problem is the front, it looks to flat and blunt. Other than that every thing is great.

Ditto. Hopefully something crazily bad will happen so that I can maybe win that contest!

Wow, for being an alternate model, this thing is amazing. This is the best alternate I've seen so far. It does bug me about the guns, maybe they could be put on the underside in the same configuration, but overall it looks great!

I really like your alternate fmoo! The spider-like wings add a nice little touch. My only wim with this MOC is whether or not those lower blasters will shoot into the two flaps/wings on the front. It appears that they do. It is a great ship fmoo, I am always anxious to see your creations. Great work as always.
