Degtyarev LMG: A how to
This is for you Colonel Schmieser! The Degtyarev DPM 1944 LMG was the improved model of the DP 1928, the standard LMG of the Soviet army during and after the war. It was inproved in 1944, aquirring its title. To see the Degtyarev in action check out my MOC: "Diggin In, Stalingrad 1942" here at: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/154811
About this creation

Your starting peices: One black cone/tube/starwars-blaster-thingy, one black rod, one 1x1x1 black brick with a hole through the middle, two 1-1 black tubes and one black 2x2 round plate.

The first step, attach the black rod to the black cone/tube/starwars-blaster thingy.

Next step, take the 1x1x1 black brick with the hole in it and connect it to the cone/tube/starwars-blaster thingy, by inserting the stud on the end of the thingy into the hole.

Next, take your basic 1-1 black tube and insert your black tube into it.

Repeat.

Placing the 2x2 round plate on the stud on top of the 1x1x1 black brick with a hole through it completes the LMG.

Now your ready to go kick some a**!

Quoting Owen Worrall oh, and that is more of a lewis gun wich was owned by the british army in 1944 around Juno and Omaha beach! :/
Thanks, I never considered using it like that. I might if I build a british set, and I've been wanting to do a SAS Long Range Group MOC for a while... Although it does bear extreme resemblences to a Lewis Gun, it was designed based off of a Russain MG, one I had repeated seen in movies, and decided to look into when I built my MOC: "Digging In..." If you would like to, you can veiw it here: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/154811 =)

Quoting Owen Worrall :( i am part german and this does kind of affend ,e not that i like the nazis or any thing but could u melow down on the nazi part abit????? .... just suggeusing :/
Ok, I took out the Nazi part. In hind site, that title was really not necissary, we all know that they were German soldiers being shot at. A little crude to be sure, but I felt it added a casual tone to the instructional, something to make it more ammusing. I did not mean to offend you, and I can see how you might be offended, it was done in jest. Thanks for commenting by the way, I love hearing feedback. =)

Quoting Conor McCarthy cool gun but just asking are u like a nazi orsomething because on your home page it has a picture of the sybol?
Nope, not a Nazi, I probably hate them with every bit as much passion as any one else out there. The Swatztica on my homepage is on a Nazi flag being held by a group of conquering American 101st Airborne troopers, I though it was a kool picture, of these conquering hereos. Thanks for commenting! =)
