Quoting Tom Simon I think you all need to keep in mind that minifig scale refers only to width and depth, not height. The minifigs themselves are 1/2 height compared to their girth. This was done to save bricks required to build buildings and such. Anything that wants to keep proportional in all 3 dimensions, like your tanks, will always make the minifigs look like the midgets they are. Bottom line: you actually got the tank right, and it looks fine.
Thanks, I still can't get over how huge it is, and proportional or not, it just isn't minifig scale. But its so hard to build things proportionaly (Which I think is much more important than whether or not it has an interior) and make them fig scale. Thanks for the support, I do believe that what I really like about this is that it is proportional to a tee. I actually worked it out mathematicly, taking measurements of a picture in cenitemeters from a reference book, and working out the proportion for how high and long the turret needed to be, if the hull was BLANK long and BLANK wide. Like I said, thanks for your support and your opinions, you can check out the finished thing here, http://mocpages.com/moc.php/199102 =)

I've finaly accepted that this is way to large for minifig scale. But the weird thing though is all the parts designed to be minifigs scale (e.g. the hathces and interiors) are just perfect for figs, and they are proportional to the rest of the tank. Somewhere along the ling though, the tank got bigger. Any way it will debut as a "mega" and I will sometime release a minifig version. =)

Thanks for the comment, I might make a V3 and scale it down a bit, but I dont think I could make it smaller with out making it an entire nother project, but I definately plan on making it! =)

Quoting jason D. just telling u,ur waisting ur time, later ull want it minifig scale like i did.
Yeah, lately when I've tried to build Urban MOCs I've noticed all my tanks are like 3 stories tall! I plan to stick to putting my tanks in rural settings or in a 100% bombed out building.

Quoting jason D. looks like theres a lot of problems,1 it is WAY to tall(i thought my tiger was way to big buy its nothing pompared to that!!!)2 it needs a hull,3 its WAY to big!!!! everything on it is to big!!!!check out my latest creations!!!
Thats one of the thoughts I had when building this, its size, I noticed it was quite large, but for some reason most of my tanks are like that so I remain content. Besides it allowed me to add a kickin interior to it. Also, did you check out my homepage? This is just a promo for the full MOC to be released in 2010, which will then show the hull, which is not pictured in this one due to the awsome camera angle. None the less, your right, this DOES remain extremely tall (& kool!). =)
