Seaside Class Battle Cruiser: RDF Monarch
The RDF Monarch is the Flagship of the Ryonian Defense Fleet. Measuring 40.5 inches long and made of nearly 6000 pieces, this ship can more than hold it's own in a conflict. It is armed with 34 anti-fighter guns, 10 heavy cannons and 2 ion cannons. The hanger under the secondary bridge houses 2 squadrons of fighters and the 7 shield generators defend the ship from energy attacks. I hope you enjoy it an please leave some comments so I know how to improove my next project. Thanks!

I really love all the small details on it, especially the little cannons are very convincing. Furthermore the whole ship has a interesting shape.

Originally it had a narrow front, similar to the Monterey Class Battleship I built. It made the design look too back heavy so I needed to bulk up the front a bit. I never was really happy with it but it certainly looked more balanced this way.

I have one minor gripe: what's with the Klingon Bird of Prey/Tantive IV-esque thing at the front? You should make the sloping-forward part wider, too narrow i.m.o. 4.99999/5.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. My main influences for spaceship design come equally from Star Wars (greebles) and Star Trek (overall silhouette). I guess that's why these past couple of ships I've made have a unique design. I'd love some constructive criticism if any of you would like to post it. Anything I should do on my next one to make it better? Thanks!

This thing has a very cool and unique shape to it. I'm surprised it has as few comments as it does. Really nice work here! ~ Chris.
