Read the sign
interpretation of a sign ---More (bright)pictures are coming---
About this creation
My entry for Shannon Young Vig/orama Contest.
this is a vignette, it's not on an 8X8 base though (it's 10x10)
It started when I had the idea of imitating that sign but the vignette needed something more so I made a facade (in the same style of my house, I'm going to try building my own house btw)

I tried using different lighting, the second pic is quite dark but the colors are accurate, the first one looks a bit yellow though you have a brighter view, I couldn't decide which was best so I've put them both on.

Shannon rocks !
it's a great initiative to actually reward the winners with prizes, that makes the contest a lot more interesting.
(I though I should add this :D)

Anyway, I hope you like it
and uhm, cheer for me :p

wow, I'm toast unless I come up with an idea deep enough to actually make shannon cry. nice job on this, I'm off to ponder shannon's deepest fears.

I'm not going to lie -- lighting is definitely an issue here. Though I do appreciate the fact that you went studless on the sidewalk for me!

Great job. Its totally understandable. For your lighting try using fluorescent bulbs. I use WHITE energy savers, The curly Q ones.

Clever moc, good details, like the idea based off the sign. The figures faces are pretty funny. Nice job!

Wow, the vig is such a great idea, and the background home is even better! Nice detail, I really like it. The only thing I suggest is the lighting, it's a bit hard to see, but that's not too much of a problem!

Quoting Steef de Prouw Awesome! What I like about this is the little details: the dirt on the shovel, the stained glass window above the door. Great stuff. Too bad the pictures are quite dark though.
they're indeed dark, I think I'm going to take new pictures before adding it to the contest group

Quoting Thomas Murray Cool! The dirt pile is sweet and the house is very well built!
because I couldn't sign in after I posted, my computer was too slow so I used another one but when I noticed I posted two times I wanted to delete one but I had to wait one hour to sign in (probably because I had been writing comments today when not signed in)

Too dark, hard to see the action. Why is that guy yelling at the shoveler? Life is full of mysteries. see ya. garth

That building looks pretty good, especially the use of the headlights to make that "tily" look is nice!
