Bavarian Autumn
About this creation

This MOC is easily one of my most complex to date for a number of reasons - the two biggest being the lack of parts in golds and the overall shape of the carriage. Heavily inspired by the coach of Mad King Ludwig II of Bavaria, the creation can roll along and actually has suspension. The main frame of the wheel section is built with two flexible hoses, which allow for this. The suspension can be seen in the side view of the carriage on the base. The base boasts a birch tree, which I found to be a fun challenge - it is built with fiber-optic cables, the new 1 x 1 round plates w/ holes (from the game line) and bars, among many other parts. The texture of the real-life inspiration (please click the link above) is quite complicated and ornate, so I believe the texture created using what limited number of gold parts exsist lends well to what I was going for. Overall, this was not an easy MOC, but a fun challenge none-the-less!

How have I overlooked your creations? Even the base of this is gobsmackingly good. So much gold! Nice use of the epaulets and treasure chest for the driver's pew.

This is just amazing. Love the coach. Love the whole scene. So tiny but you put so much theme and character into it! Very nice, and clean looking. Tree is great. I hate using those tube pieces but you did it well!

Hello Sir, The carraige left me speechless on my first view of it, it is completely beautiful, flawless, and one of the best carraige MOC's I have ever seen browsing MOCpages, would you ever post instructions or the list of parts you used to create this moc?

It looks like a baroque chariot... like the real one... Well, I like it a lot and the torso of the driver is decalc, isn't it?

I love the moc so much. The carriage is absolut perfectly build and the baseplate is simply on of the best I've ever seen. Especially the birch tree is my favorit in this moc. But maybe you could add a little "Schloss Neuschwanstein" in the backround.

Before reading the bottom I thought to myself, that mini fig looks like King Ludwig! I went to Castle Nueschwanstein about a decade ago and loved it. A scene with the two castles and the lake between would be a wonderfully monstrous endeavor someday! Uber alles, ser gut!~H

The Icon of Class. It has every Gold piece I know, and some I didn't know existed. All with that classic 'Barely heald together' Sir Nadroj style.

I love all that shiny gold, brilliant! Nice birch tree, too. Didn't you use those perfume bottles on the carriage, or couldn't I find them?

Like the techniques used for the Silver Birch, an interesting tree to go with, which I've only seen a few other attempts at.
