About this creation

Preview to Infection: The Outbreak

Pic #1
[ I awoke with a jolt as the alarm echoed throughout the halls, the bright red lights reflecting off the slick walls of the prison. The rusty door to our cell had already been burst open, guards and prisoners alike were running frantically all about the narrow halls. Before I could even move, my cell mate Micheal shouted to me...]

Micheal: "Ellis, get yo a** out of there and let’s get the h*** out of here, man!"

pic 2
[ Together we ran out of the facial entrance of our section, and I felt a sudden, overwhelming feeling of anxiety engulf me. My legs could only take me so fast, and it was uncertain of where to go. On the way down the stairs, I tripped over a boulder ledged into the grass, and heard a sharp "snap" as I watched my knee buckle, braking instantly. I screamed out…]

"Help, someone please help!

[ No one seemed to want to listen and most didn't even give a slim glance in my direction. ]

pic 3
[ I gradually limped over to the medical ward on the west side of the complex. I was exhausted, and with each passing step a deep breath of air exhaled from my mouth. I blinked as a bright flash of lightning glistened overhead sending a bright white light over the ward. After a few seconds the light faded out, and I fell to the ground. ]

PIC 4
[ I turned around sharply to see some black, vague figures moving about in the distance. They began to approach, surrounding me. I yelled out... ]

Help, please! I'm injured, for god's sake, please help!

[ They paid no attention, but instead continued their approach. They moved slowly, dragging one leg behind the other. They held their arms out if front of them and moaned with each step. I looked into their eyes, and with careful observation I noticed that their eyes began to turn a reddish color. I watched in horror and steadily backed away. ]

pic 5
[ More eyes began to close around me, I looked up in fear and called out…]

“What the h*** is this about?”

[ The figure in front of me stopped and glanced down at me. As it stepped into the dim light, a horrific, mutated face was revealed. My hands trembled with fear. The figure gave a half smile and opened his mouth widely. Then I heard it. A blood chilling screech filled the air and echoed throughout the halls. The figure sprinted forward toward me with enormous speed, its arms fully extended, and its mouth dripping blood. I tried to get up, but everything went black… ]

Quoting KAJ pro Awsome! looks like something that would make a good video game, other than a story. very well done, and I like the music for it too, (whats the name?).
Thank you! The music is the Resident Evil 3 Theme Song: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xfqknedm7hY). Stay tuned, the full blown version will be posted Tuesday, April 6th.

Quoting Blade Bat The mega block in the cell is a BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG MISTAKE. the build I give a 4/5 the story 2/5.
It's a shame you did not like it, but I have to thank you for pointing out some good mistakes here. The story uses a lot of adjectives because I wanted to give it a very descriptive atmosphere. If you were describing a river in a story would you say "the river was long" or "the blue, rushing, river pulled us into it's depth each time our boat flipped." Your right about the thoughts though, which is why the real thing is going to be all dialogue between characters. Also I searched for the megablox in the cell, couldn't find it. Thanks for you advice, it will be needed once I go and finish the installment. -Dylan

The build is good but dosn't look like a prison much at all but still the build was good. Well to be honest the story kinda takes away from it needs a bit of work. What I feel is wrong with the story is it expalnes to much. It tells what we already know for exaple "I awoke with a jolt as the alarm echoed throughout the halls, the bright red lights reflecting off the slick walls of the prison. The rusty door to our cell had already been burst open, guards and prisoners alike were running frantically all about the narrow halls. Before I could even move, my cell mate Micheal shouted to me...]" could be shortend to "I 'woke when the alram went off and every one was rushin' out of there, Then Micheal yelled..." Since we all ready can tell were there at, and some photo shop could have been used to give a red tint plus we can see that the doors open and it also needs to sound as if it's some ones thoughts not a book desription. Now back to talkin' 'bout the build the front of the prison was my faverite part. The mega block in the cell is a BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG MISTAKE. the build I give a 4/5 the story 2/5.

Dylan B I made it Dylan B October 30, 2009 Quoting Finn C-Q How do you take the photo's like that with the arms in front? You can do it in one of two ways. First you can buy that special minifig head with the camera inside of it, or you could just take a picture of each arm and photoshop in into the picture. Both work great! -Dylan (where can we get it)
