Uplink Battle Platform-01
Exo-Force Uplink Battle Platform-01, an alternate MOC using two 7708 sets.
About this creation
The UBP-01 is a test vehicle based on the technology seen in the Exo-Force 7708 Uplink. The Uplink Battle Platform-01 uses almost twice the parts of a standard Uplink machine, but benefits from twice the firepower, two heavyduty missiles, and a far more stable launching platform due to its dual bipedal mobility systems.

Update: Elton, I would have liked to give Ryo some more cover but I forced myself to use only the pieces from 2x 7708 sets. Wandering into battle with nothing but a headband to protect his minifig head is pretty much what the standard Uplink kit offers so I left him with the wind (and enemy fire) blowing through his manga hair.

Thruth be told, I'm a huge fan of these orange parts - never had them when I was a kid - and the reason I picked up set 7705 Gate Assault yesterday. Pics of my Swift alternative up soon!

It looks a lot better with the four legs. A great improvement.

To the previous reviewer; none of the Exo Force sets are very practical (i'm referring to the originals). As for this version, I definitely prefer it over the original; looks far more menacing. And the four legs work out nicely too; good job!

Good work combining the two sets. I like the airial array and the 4x barreled gun. The driver seems kinda exposed though.
