About this creation
This nice engine is in use by the LFB (London fire brigade). I believe they have over 100 in use. It is a Mercedes-Benz Atego 1328F built by TVAC with a Plastisol body and a Godiva pump. It is in service since 2003. Inspired by Elliott rolling and Kenneth Moore. Check them out, they're both great builders :D
Nice work on the rig! European rigs intrigue me. I've always wanted to see a European fire appliance next to a U.S. pumper just to really see the size difference and how its laid out. Keep up the good work!
Looks pretty good to me! It's DPL 1181 I think! I used to work for TVAC & was personally involved with these appliances. Over 7 years we built 216 of these + 16 FRU's, also on MB Atego chassis. I now work for Plastisol themselves & am visiting LFB workshops at Ruislip next week!! Keep it up!
