About this creation
Much like Land Speeder for Space Marines, the Vyper jetbike is a lightweight skimmer, moving fast, biting hard, but also fragile and usually defenseless against vehicles.

The biggest problem was making the Vyper streamlined without using new, rounded parts, just because I don't have them. Altough that, I like the final effect :)

The turret can rotate in 360 degrees, and the cannon can do the same - so any point (except of course bottom-front) can be attacked.

The wings are surprisingly strong, if not mentioning little winglets on the end. They work as damage absorbers, long 8x1 tiles in the front do the same job. This makes the overall structure strong and safe for both pilots.

Rear wiev. The turret "sits" on an axle, which is inside those three gray thingies under the round 4x4 brick.

Cannon is quite detailed; I usually do a simple technic-guns, as they look nice on their own, but this time I decided to do more complicated one. It is built mostly of minifig accessory parts + liftarm and 2 3-sides 2x1 bricks.

Gunman's control panel is not mounted rigidly and can be rotated. It works this way just because I didn't find way to install it rigidly :D

None of standard Lego cockpits fits the jetbike, and I am not sure of the one I did either... at last it is intresting :D

I think this lego creation is awsome. It has pieces in the right places and everything. I would really like to get instructions for this. |

Wow! this is really good! But Eldar have pointy helmets, like an icecream cone shape. Try using the old castle helmets. They would look great! I've been doin some MOC's myself. Did a couple of micro I.G. Tanks and a Techpriest is on the way. No pics yet, though. Checkem out in a lil bit. |
