Articulated All Terrain Vehicle chassis
An idea for a simple articulated ATV chassis with rudimentary suspension - all wheels on a surface at all times.
About this creation
This is an idea I had with the parts from my TinyTurbos collection. I noticed that one of the small wheel axles fitted perfectly into the hole of a headlight brick - this meant that the wheels could rotate about this axle and I had a rudimentary 4 wheel unsprung suspension mechanism!

Please feel free to steal these ideas! If you do, I'd be very interested to see what you create, so please leave a note in the reviews or drop me an email!

Here it is turning to the left.

The front left wheel rises over the obstacle, with all three other wheels still on the surface.

The rear left wheel follows the front over the obstacle - others maintain surface contact.

A more clear shot showing the rear left wheel on the obstacle.

Front shot showing how the chassis twists about the pivots to allow the wheels up-down motion over a surface.

The connecting point between the two axles allows the vehicle quite a range of motion...

...and here is the key to this little mechanism! If you find this idea useful, please let me know if you use it in any MOCs - I'm very intersted to see what other people might come up with!

I've been working on incorporating the wheel-connector-pieces on other things, and discovered that connection as well. This is a nifty application - do build the entire car.
