HUNTER Chapter I: Rescue
Well, after months of procrastinating, I've finally finished the first chapter of my new 'Hunter' comic series. I now know how much harder it is to put together a whole comic, than just making a vehicle, or even a diorama. But don't worry, now that I have a plot for the series, the next chapter shouldn't take nearly as long.
About this creation
In a corridore somewhere in a large U.N.E. facility, a U.N.E. soldier is standing guard beside a doorway marked with a letter 'E' in green. He doesn;t know what the 'E' stands for, nor does he care. He is just waiting for his shift to end, so that he can get a good night's sleep.

Lost in dreams of his wonderful comfy bed, his brain only just registers that there is a man walking towards him.

His brain does not immediately process that the man is wearing C.O.P. combat uniform, nor that he is pointing a compact sub-machinegun directly at his chest.

The C.O.P. soldier pulls the trigger.

The C.O.P. soldier walks up to fallen guard, pocketing his SMG.
The man's only known name is Sgt. Parry.

Parry heaves the dead U.N.E. man up ...

And places him, propped up against a wall, infront of the security eye-scanner. A beam of blue light contacts with the dead man's eye.

A monotone voice states: 'ACCESS GRANTED'. Parry leaves the man lying on the floor as he steps through the opening door...

The room beyond showed a massive robotic crane-arm, and a preserving vacum chamber. There were a few other bits and pieces around the room...

Parry stopped for a moment to watch the robotic arm lifting a sealed quarantine container...

And dropped it down a bio-hazard waste disposal chute...

Parry contined across the room, looking at the strange things on display...

he stopped before the preseravation vacum chamber. Inside, he could just see another C.O.P. soldier, still wearing his uniform, and lying still and silent. Parry hesitated for a moment. All he had to do was push down the lever infront of him, and the chamber would open. Easy. Too easy....

he reached up and pulled the lever down....

The moment he touched the the lever, a loud alarm went off. Parry swears quietly under his breath. Those tricky U.N.E. must have made the lever finger-print sensitive....

Oh well, he'd come prepared...

Placing a small device on top of the chamber, Parry stood back...

*KABOOOM!*

Inside the chamber, the other C.O.P. man awoke with a jerk. looking up, he saw Sgt. Parry holding out his hand, to help him out of the blasted apart remains of the vacum chamber.

The other soldier's name was Nathan Hunter. He had been captured and taken prisoner after the small destroyer, the Shard Of Night, had crash-landed on the planet Aurora.

Sgt.Parry: "you are Nathan Hunter, of the Coalalition of Planets?"
Hunter: "That's me. What's going on?"
Sgt.Parry: "I was sent to rescue you. There's no time to explain properly. The U.N.E. are on there way."

Just then, the door opened, and two U.N.E. guards armed with automatic rifles charged into the room.

Parry whipped out his SMG and ruthlessly gunned down the first guard. The second one fired his rifle at the two Coalition soldiers.

Parry and Hunter just managed to take cover behind a heavy table before bullet sparks appeared where they had been standing...

The gunfire stopped. Parry and Hunter cautiously looked out from behind the table...

The soldier's gun seemed to have jammed.

Parry was preparing to execute the unfortunate soldier, when Hunter did something unexpected: He lifted up the heavy table they had been hiding behind, and with a sudden burst of inhuman strength, shoved the table at the U.N.E. soldier.

The table smashed into the U.N.E. soldier and cracked in half

The soldier crumpled against the wall, where he slid down to the floor. Parry was amazed. That table must have weighed over 200 pounds, and Hunter had just thrown it at the guard as if it were made of cardboard.

But there was no time to inquire.
Parry: "Quick, we need to get out of here. The waste chute! It's the only way out now"
Parry and Hunter ran over to where Parry had seen the crane dropping waste down.

The guard who had been hit by the table sat up groggily, reaching for his gun. But The two enemy soldiers had already gone......

Quoting Finn C-Q Why do U.N.E. guns always jam? Also, why didn't Hunter let the other guy kill him? Compassion is something I rarally see with the C.O.P.
I guess because of their more primitive technology, and u'll have to ask Dan Hunter, the veteren of war, why he didn't want to see another man slaughtered unless he had no choice.
