The inspiration for this model came from the apartment/house in the movie, “Coraline”. In the movie, the Pink Palace is an old pink house that has been turned into apartments. Simply due to the fact that there are very few pink Lego bricks, I decided to do my model in tan. The design is not 100% accurate, but I tried to get as close as I could. This model doesn’t open for viewing, but I did add a photo of the first floor. The inside of the house include wood floors, walls, a fireplace, stairs to the second floor, and a kitchen on the first floor.

Nice adaptation. Looks better than the original. I bet it would cost a fortune to build it in pink, and take a long time to accumulate them. see ya. garth |

This is an excellent build Rita, as usual! You are truly a master of the roofing....while I am a complete failure! I look forward to seeing more houses in the future! How long do your houses stay up before you end up tearing them down? |

Yet another great building! Haven't seen the film, although the source picture reminds me of the Bate's house from psycho (probably a knowing nod on Tim Burton's part) Would be awesome in pink, but - like you said - it is quite a rariety. |
