NoVVember Vic Viper ! - "SP2 Viper"
This is my first Vic Viper, and also the first MOC I've done with the Space Police 2 color-scheme. I love this theme, however I've had only two small sets from it because it was released during my "Dark Ages". It is also one of my first attempt whith a white background, so the shot is not perfect, I know. Hope you'll like it anyway :-)

I personally think that also in repeating parts you have to have certain skills, and this is very remarkable example of it. Part behind cockpit has very unique design. Since it is one of earlier Crimsos works I hope he had continued with builds like this. For me, most important skill is to being innovative, so Crimsos work means much to me...

Quoting Jesse Long I have to second Yorik Bruhl's comment about the wings on the front of your Vic Viper. It's a very innovative design and ditto for using them on the main part of the body and the engine area, too. About the only things that I don't like on there are that the wings that you're using on your Vic Viper are a little TOO stubby and unaerodynamic and that the tail isn't as prominent as it would be on a normal Vic Viper. Other than that, though, it's certainly a solid build. Why not swing over and check out my new Vic Viper build if you have the time and want to make a comment on it, too? It's good to be back, Crismo.
Thanks for your interest and constructive opinion :-D

Gobsmackingly brilliant! I love the way the plates at the front are arranged - it makes me think of a radiator to vent the heat. Good work my friend!

What a beast! It must be producing an intensive amount of heat, because of all these "radiators" :-) . Love that ribbed design and all these deatils from the front to the rear. You can watch this again and again and you´ll find still another sweet detail. Awesome!

Holy Moses, what a massive piece of hardware! I too dig the colours and you've made a top notch work on this ship. I love your use of the angled wingpices on the pylons, it gives the ship a very aggressive approach. Keep 'em coming!

Quoting Eturior . Wow, that's probably the bulkiest viper I've seen, but that's good! You really have a lot of those plates with 45-degree shape that you used on the front!
The funny fact is, I order those parts each time I see them on Bricklink, and each time, I forgot I've already got tons of it lol

Excellent use of SNOT to create the grill effect with those 45's, it really gives it the freighter look and brings a lot of detail. Very nice work.~H

Thanks Space Pirate, Garth and Yuri !
Quoting Yuri Fassio Wonderful. I love that "grill" design, and the aft section is so full of details I lost myself watching it. What exactly is a Vic Viper?
It's a type of ship inspired by "Gradius" - Every year, in november, there's a kind of contest on Flickr, each builder showing his own vision of a "Vic Viper" - You'll find more details in the Flickr group here : http://www.flickr.com/groups/921332@N22/
