The 6929-J Performance Aerospacecraft by J0N0TR0N1C SYSTEMS :/ Sweet Rides for an Uncertain Future
About this creation
The 6929-J is a J0N0TR0N1C SYSTEMS interpretation of TLG's Classic Space 6929 (Starfleet Voyager).

Measurements:
36 studs long
28 studs wide
6.66 bricks tall
241 grams with pilot (no passengers or cargo)

Max Minifig Capacity: 3

The body shape has been altered: the nosecone sensor array has been changed, the transition between the front cockpit section and rear passenger/cargo section has been streamlined, the wing span has been widened and the rear wing angle and shape have been modified.

The dishes have been removed from the underside of the cockpit section and replaced with a single smaller (rotatable) sensor dish on top of the cargo compartment.

The rear visibility has been added to the upper and lower areas of the cockpit.

The engines have been completely re-imagined.

Equipment storage clamps behind the passenger/cargo compartment.

Flight controls have been updated and tool storage clamps installed in the cockpit.

The passenger/cargo compartment is fully enclosed with a hinged shell and fits one minifig comfortably, or two minifigs in a pinch if they are friendly (not shown).

The back of the 6929 was always somewhat lacking and I've tried to improve it in the past with mixed results, but your version is how the original should have been. Excellent.

A nice rendition ofa favorite classic. Love the rear compartment, definite improvement on the original there. Funnily enough as Crimso said also, I'm working on a variant of these myself. Such a great ship. Cool build...

Quoting Crimso Giger Every new variation on the 6929 really interest me, and this is a wonderful one. I've got a big project with the 6929, and now I'm even more inspired :-)
Thanks for the favorable comment. It was Mark Stafford's Starfleet Infinitum that got me rolling on this project. Can't wait to see your take on 6929!

"fits one minifig comfortably, or two minifigs in a pinch if they are friendly" haha funny ! - Now the ship : WIN ! Every new variation on the 6929 really interest me, and this is a wonderful one. Looks like the Futuron version, merged with your own style. As usual it looks like a plausible real set, but it's unique at the same time. Love the rear compartement, the back trans-windscreen, the wings, and the new nose is great too. Awesome mate ! I've got a big project with the 6929, and now I'm even more inspired :-)
