i think megatron was stuped in the cartoon to transform and shrink in to a gun and have someone else aim and fire...but it is one of the best lego transformers ive seen.

Oh okay. I was confused because if the catch phrase is "robots in disguise," A giant gun wasn't a very good Disguise.

actually in the cartoon he shrunk down to a small gun so other decepticons could fire him....actually kinda lame when you think of it. Why would the leader shrink down into the hands of his bumbling minions!

History Lesson: the original transformers as we know them in the Western world (G1) were made up of repainted versions of two Japanese toylines: Diaclone which consisted of mostly cars trucks and airplanes that were mecha driven by tiny action figures and Microchange (from the Microman line) mostly human sized accesories like radios and guns that changed into robots. Check the old commericals out on youtube they were ahead of their time.

Megatron was a giant HANDGUN? I thought he was a tank. Then again, I don't know a thing about G1 transformers except that they transform. Obviously.

Try www.reprolabels.com they have all the replacement stickers for old transformers or try Ebay. I purchased my stickers at a toy show last year. It was a sheet of foil stickers with both autobot and decepticon logos in all different sizes. It was only a few dollars.

Thatīs totally awesome! He looks 100% like the toy, and I love his bulky design! Like any of your transformers, this one looks as it couldnīt transform, just too perfect. The head is fantastic, this canīt be done better, really, that needs talent. All in all this is fantastic, great job!

Beautiful both in mecha and gun mode, not an easy task in a transformer design.....great work.

Unfortunately we will never see a g1 megatron re-release in north america because hasbro thinks it looks to much like a real gun. I wonder if I can buy one off of ebay . Anyways this is a very goood representation of g1 megatron.
