The Lancaster-class destroyer was created for the impending war against the Intergalactic Republic. It's utilitarian shape is a dark embodiment of the new Federation. It serves as a general flagship around the fleets, made infamous by General Spartacus' KSS Eclipse. It features a hangar bay capable of carry a total of 4 squadrons of fighters or bombers. Long range communications and sensor arrays make it the ideal all-around Federation cruiser. 470 metres in length, it's no walk in the park.
Yeah, I had noticed a while back that I saw all your models and didn't post anything for all, so yeah. This is maybe my second favorite. Close with its successor but not quite. Of course this is why I thought the bridge for the Emperius was directly behind the guns, using cameras. Here, the rear looks similar and the forward facing window for the bridge is directly behind those top guns...heh. Anyway, I like the detail in this one! Makes me smile and gasp at the same time, heh. Cool stuff. :-)
