The Grey Templar Hardsuit. In this MOC, I made a hardsuit that is small, but fits very well with a minifig. The way I interpret a hardsuit is that it's a armoured suit that a person, or minifig wears. This doesn't mean a robot with a minifig's head stuck on top, (no offence to anybody who makes hardsuits like that), nor does it mean a massive turret with legs and a little compartment for a fig to sit in (I just call that a mech), but it is a hard-SUIT-.
About this creation
Here is the hardsuit with a standard banner attached to it's back.
About the Grey Templar Hardsuit:
Armament: 2 anti personnel chain guns. (fires at 3000 rounds per minute)
Speed: Up to 40 kM/H.
Uses: Charging enemies, gunning down anything that stands in it's way, whilst return fire ricochets of it's armour.
Design: The Suit is made up of 3 parts; all the parts attach directly to the minifig. There are 2 leg parts, which attach tho the minifig's legs, and the shouldier/arms part, which is attached to the minifig's back using one of those back thingies you put throught the minifig's neck.

Unless I make a very dramatic change in the plot, this Hardsuit should be featuring in one of the chapters of my comic series, 'HUNTER' (probably ch. 4).
I'm not sure exactly how bricklink works now, but when I find out, I'm hoping to order enough parts to make a whole squad of Grey Templar Suits.

Very nice, I had the same opinion as you so I made a hardsuit with that same "no body minifig" concept. I think I overcomplicated mine but yours is simple and sweet. Keep up the good work :D |
