My first Lego gun, the Glock 17. It fires about 25-30ft. It has a complicated mechanism to fire the rubber bands. It also has sights, and a trigger guard.
Here we see the trigger of the Glock 17. I think it came out pretty accurate. For my first "Gun Moc" I thought this is good.
The mechanism. It's hard to see the full thing, so I'll explain it. So first, you load the gun. There is a piece that is attached to the trigger that keeps the gear from spinning. When you pull the trigger, the piece lets go of the gear and the rubber band fires. Then, another rubber band pulls the trigger back into place.
The ammo. I don't have much of these, they are Lego's rubber bands.
The gun when it's loaded.
I'd like to mention Chas' Glock 17, which is also very cool.
I can't say that I'll comment on ALL of these "Gun" MOCs. I mean I couldn't care less about them. Sorry. Well for the first time building one-Good Job! You should build a version 2 so you can fix the handle...
