About this creation
Arachni is yet another MOC that is nothing more but a spontanic design. Based on leftover from badly-done Defiler, from which I liked only the legs. All the rest was just experimenting - maybe use insectoids' eye as a cockpit canopy? Or take Dreadnought's machine gun... why not? :D

The Arachni walker looks like it was heavily armoured, and indeed it is so. With thick armor, speed, agility, and ability to get where common tracked or wheeled vehicles can't, Arachni is valuable unit.

Weaponary: 6-barelled rapid fire assault cannon, works best on infantry but lighter vehicles will suffer, too.

Construction, like all mine, is sturdy and resistant. Legs work as great shock absorbers, so almost no energy is passed to the hull itself. And the hull is strong enough to survive multiple attacks.

I really like how the cockpit works, and expect it to be used in some future MOCs :D

The Arachni looks a bit like final boss from Doom I game, the Mastermind. He was a big brain with chaingun in the front, on four spiderish legs...

Legs' claws can be rotated (not shown here, just look at the pin that connects it to technic bricks), so Arachni can stand on loose surfaces, too.

Wow! I really like how you blended some different themes. The legs are really nice, and it's awesome to so someone come up with a use for the insectoid bubble eye piece. My only complaint is that the machine gun is a little big. |

Whoohoo! Neat. The protruding technic axles give it an insect-like feel, and it's just a solid spidermecha in general. Great chain gun, too. |
