My largest MOC to date! A treaty between Islanders and Pirates proves mutually beneficial.
About this creation
Striking up a treaty with the Islanders has allowed the Pirates to create a safe haven for their wheeling and dealings.
The Grand Chieftain offers up another Carrot sacrifice to the Gods.
Comings and goings.
The temple from side on.
Pirate captains indulge in some high stakes Rummy.
More treehouse action.
Another poor soul about to succumb to the Sirens call.
My little pirate vessel.
An Islander catarmaran.

My words are inaccurate to describe this creation, it is truly the creation of a master. The wet sand is brilliant, the attention to detail significant, and the Temple is breathtaking. Even though I usually dont give them, this deserves a five star from me. Thank you for really impressing me. |

i spotted one thing.:-) once you made the wet sand, you should do a wet rocks also (with the darker grey) ;-) but i don't know myself how it would look, i like it this way as much as a person can like something, but the waves are everywhere... ;-)
Thanks for taking the time to post your thoughts. I hadn't thought about wet rocks, but it sounds feasible, perhaps on a smaller scale i would have the time to attend to such a fine detail. Hopefully I will build something a little smaller next time, as its taking me ages to deconstruct this MOC. Cheers |

Where to start? The treehouse is superb, as is the lovely step-pyramid. The SNOT water and clever use of tiles and cheese slopes for foam trails. I think the devil is in the details and your details are devilish! The green manga hair as fruit in the crates, the clever way you've made 2 mermaid figs into 3 by having the diving and surfacing ones. The faces and baby t-rexs as details on the temple are great. Really good diorama, well done! |
