The Village of Hurin, the town my character in Crohaven, is from.
About this creation
a shot of the whole MOC
my fountain design
and my bird nest design
if you're still around than I;m suprised, this must be better than I thought.
and the centerpiece, the "mother tree", the tree that according to the elves gave birth to the forest in which they live.
random closeup
an Elven sorcerer opens his chest.
I love this picture.
close up on one of the Elves.
the rope bridge, I'm really proud of it.
Credit goes to whoever designed the medieval marketplace for the bird design.

Brilliant as far as design! Little less brilliant when I saw the name Hurin (Elf in Lord of the Rings) and the hometree bit (Avatar). But how many ideas are there in the world? Brilliant still mate.
Actually, this was built before Avatar even came out. I'm glad you recognized the LOTR reference though. |

The waterfall is very nice, and so is your tree, but I can't help thinking that floor is a bit... busy? All those colors make it rather messy, I think it would look MUCH better if it was simply one shade of green... The pool of water is splendid, and you've done a great job otherwise! |

Wow, this is excellent! The trees and little fountain are the best! A backround would have been nice (you could have tried hanging a sheet from the ceiling) If I had been you I would had made it in sections rather then one big MOC so you could get better photos You could still put it together for an overall shot or two. The water spout fountain thing could have some water dropping off from the sides of the main spout. Still 5/5 |

great representation of a forest! so organic and warm looking! By the way, I'm guessing it took a whole LOT of brown for that tree, huh? How much?
LOTS, although probably less than you think since it is completely hollow. |

i've seen this 3 times and I'm still fascinated, I wish i could be so talented landscaping, or even have the pieces to landscape!
Have you tried organizing your pieces? if not, I definitely would. You will most likely find that you have a lot more pieces than you think. |

Hey, I used the same thing for the nest in my castle wip, http://mocpages.com/moc.php/157341! You should give me credit. JK, but how weird (unless you really did copy me). Anyways, cool village, although I think a few pics are out of order. Cool waterfall, and the mother tree is cool, too. Keep building!
I actually didn't copy you, I was shifting through a pile of pieces looking for something that would even remotely resemble an egg nest and than I saw the hair and I thought it would look okay as a bird nest. |

i agree with everyone below. the trees are amazing work. they are massive and make the landscape look amazing. the structure of the ground and the folige is supperb. like the person below me said. you have an amazing tallent in lego building. the fountain is great. the cave looks awsome and the whole thing is just... amazing/ brilliant/ great/suppeb/wowowowow, and awsome. and the waterfall was a amzing work. this must of taken you ages.
I started on it around 10:40 am and continued building, only stopping occasionally until 10:00 pm, went to bed planning it out, and then finished it off building from 7:40 to about 30 min. before uploading around 4:00. |
