Hidrar
Hidrar, possibly the fastest Courier in all of Bara Magna. lol
About this creation
On the dry, arid wasteland world of Bara Magna, neighboring villages are spread far and wide. Often one has to travel vast distances between them, mostly in the business of Glatorian events. Communication between them is also limited to travelers and passers-by, in the hope that they are heading towards where you want the message to go. And then there are of course professional courier services that charge the earth, exploiting the customers. Not without warrant however, since one must pay for vehicle usage, fuel, supplies, an armed escort, and an innumerable list of things just to increase the price that only the rich could afford.

There are however a few remaining services dedicated to maintaining a courier service accessible for all. They are called the Runners.

No vehicles, no escort, the Runners are lone couriers. Known to the scientific community as Neo-Gori, but to most deemed Freaks of Nature, what with their long legs, and short arms. Never expected to work the professions normal Agori do, or to live the celebrated, and often dangerous life as a Glatorian, most do what their body was truly meant for; speed.

<Excerpt from Physiological Analysis of Abnormal Agori>

“The subject HG20058, named Hidrar exhibits typical traits of Neo-Gori. Shortened arms and longer legs, both with seemingly more flexibility to our own Agori limbs, are in functioning condition. Numerous tests show that, through rigorous endurance tests, we can show that, although the upper body does not provide equal or better force, compared to Glatorian standards, they do however exceed in their lower body functions, most notably prolonged and maintained cyclic locomotion of the lower extremities; the legs.

The upper body design most likely aids this fact as the tighter rotation allows for less drag, in contrast to Glatorian physique where the longer arms are and always have been, for combat. The fact that faster locomotive movement is hindered by the extended reach is not important. There is no need for a Glatorian, or even an Agori to run away from anything.”

<End Excerpt>

Runners often have the same background story; abandoned at birth, raised in an orphanage, and getting the only job that their body was, for a reason created by law, designed for. Hidrar is no exception. But where others have been shunned to being a lower caste member of society, Hidrar has managed to befriend many of the locals where he works as a Runner. Messages, packages, and on the rare occasion, pet delivery, are always delivered without fail with alarming speed. Some say he is quite possibly the fastest Neo-Gori alive right now.

Hidrar has often wondered about his heritage. On the outside, seemingly a mix of Ice and Fire traits, speculation amongst friends and colleagues have lead to wild rumors ranging from a secret tryst between a champion from Iconox and a scribe from Vulcanus to an alien being from another dimension. Hidrar mostly regards these rumors as jest, but he still does his research in his spare time. But even if it takes him forever, he will find out the truth.

Creator's Notes:

Ok, so I made this guy a few weeks ago, only now getting around to putting him up. I was just experimenting with a smaller, compact torso design and made this. Easy to construct, so someone probably already has done it.

And yeah I know the story is cheesy. I'll probably flesh out the character some more at a later date lol

Quoting Alex Mac I love how one can pack so much into such a small creation. Those legs are fantastic, thick thighs, skinnier calves, and tiny feet, perfect traits for running. Unlike Skylexer, I DO like the color SCHEME, nice job!
Thanks

Quoting Gringat The Stormlord I actually really like his backstory. I might include a few of his people in the BRC story...

This is good. Mixes are not the easiest to pull off, then you throw custom designs in too. You, my good sir, are a genius.
