NEMESIS PRIME ... OPTIMUS' EVIL CLONE "THE DELUXE VERSION"

About this creation

My Creative juices have been flowing at warp speed these past few weeks. This is a hybrid of my G1 Optimus Prime Version 4, in black of course: Nemesis Prime Deluxe. I modified my Prime Version 4 design to look like the voyager class classics Prime (in Vehicle mode) that came out a year or two ago. I think Hasbro also made a Nemesis Prime variant.

DEC 22, 2009: After looking at Nemesis Prime on my shelf for a week I though the wind vein was not menacing looking enough in robot mode so I made the following changes: Removed wind vein, Added shoulder cannons / smokestacks that can be removed and used as rifles. I think he is more menacing looking now. Vehicle mode is the same minus the wind vein. Check out the new pics.....

He was in episode 14 in RID, and he was in the episode called "Puppet" in Armada.

he was basically an excuse for hasbro / takara to do repaints - there was only one G1 cartoon episode with an evil clone of optimus prime but they were exactly the same colour scheme. Over the years takara has reissued a black decepticon prime calling him Nemesis Prime or Scourge. Nemesis Prime was in the Robots in Disguise and Armada cartoon I believe.
