Finally, the mech that I consider my very best so far has finally arrived to MOCpages, hope you guys like it! Come check it out!
About this creation
Fellow MOCers I gladly and proudly present you the very best of my mechs, the HellRaider!
After nearly 2 and a half months of no MOCing I return with this beast to you, when the dust of exams settles, the HellRaider comes in for the kill.
I simply LOVED building this mech. Everything went perfect! I want to thank to everyone who gave me help to surpass my leg and balance problem, something I consider has a personal accomplishment in MOCing!
It took me about a week to build it,I did the cockpit in one day, then both guns (these were a huge torment to decide since I had SO MANY IDEAS for guns), then the whole main body and a hole day for the legs!
I took some outdoor and indoor pics, they both got pretty good I think.
Building arms was an objective in my sketch book, also a plasma cannon and a minigun, but i think these arms/guns came out better with the look, kinda MechWarrior-like.
The front armor/missile launchers were to awesome to tear apart in my previous mech so I kept them for more weapon diversity and coolness xD
The mirror for the cockpit was my very first LEGO mirror ever! Its from a very old LEGO theme, it was the Extreme theme, it came with a rocket car. I like it alot!
If you notice leg detail from pics, you´ll see that the feet have suspension, in the Nimrod it was just for feet stability, in the HellRaider, it actually holds pretty much ALL the main chassis, well not all, there are some other smaller joints that arent very visible but gives it the essential steadiness and balance the most of my older mechs didnt have...
Maybe I could have put some more studless plates in the legs...some other time perhaps.
The weapons turned out quite nicely, no problems there.

Feet (for squishing infantry xD)
Armor & Shielding:
Archeogenis Bionite Regenerative Armor Plating (slow version)
Paladin MDS Medium Shield Projectors
other Equipment:
Universal MMI Mech comm, nav, tag and wpn systems
Pegasus5000 Turbofan Water and Air Cooling system
Archeogenis MFR Mech Engine
ERMP (Enhanced Reality Mech Piloting) System
AIC Scouting Drones
Overall Performance and Feedback:
Weight: 95 tons
Speed: 100km/h (quite good for its weight and size)
Controller: Human Pilot (to much pilot exposure due ERMP system high field view demand).
Defenses: Good armor protecting only most vital parts, lesser important parts to exposed and weak shielding, protecting only from small-to-medium power fire.
Offense: Superb offense with high caliber weaponry. Infantry and small vehicles are easy targets, and enemy mechs are not a big problem. For AI controlled targets (like DAs), the pilot can switch normal rounds to EMP coil rounds. Also option to fire continuously or powerful bursts of 3 rounds. Good quantity of ammo.
Equipment: Standard Hi-tech Mech technology.

it is pretty good needs little more weapons...and u really need to limit it to one (or two) colors i mean i was looking at the thing i saw grey red black and light gray blue white...it really should be one color....hope i helped |
