yea i know how u feel James, all these people want substance but theres alot of time where I like my lego without substance. Great work on this and all your castle creations.

Excellent work, James (and you, Shazza). Now what's all this brouhaha about substance? You're clearly paying tribute to the classic yellow version...ignore the braying monkeys, James, they just don't get it. I bet you could build some brick horses in well weird colours these days, mind...

This set does use castle wall pieces. I definately prefer mocs, and this set does need substance.

its frikkin the first castle set but in grey instead of yellow and shows how to make a castle without casle pieces! how much substance you need? could use minifigs and brick horses though.
