Hondusian Recon Speeder
Fast and flighty, this machine is not made for combat but deep-level patrols and reconnaissance.Three engines boost this puppy along at incredible speeds. It is armed with a single repeating cannon in the nose, small caliber, though.
About this creation
After nearly a month of inaction on MOCpages (except making a general nuisance of my self in my groups and comments) I decided enough was enough and buckled down for another MOC. I whipped this baby up in about 20 minutes. Sorry about the pic quality, I'll be getting a new camera soon (hopefully...).

You'll notice I used the old skele-whatever-they-were-called helmets from the old Alpha Team sets for the exhaust.

The pilot is not secured in any way, held on only by gripping the control sticks. Believe me, it wasn't easy.

A special thanks to our fellow MOCer, Eric (http://mocpages.com/home.php/19059) for the sand green droid body for the front!

Quoting Hans Dendauw Very cool speeder with a unique color scheme. If I might ask, is the sand green nose piece custom or official LEGO? Never seen it in that color...~H
Neither have I, it's official though. I can't imagine where my friend got it, he thinks at a garage sale. I've checked it thoroughly, it's not painted.

Wow, awesome job. My group, Lightning Industries, is having a Hotrod Speader Contest. You should enter this. http://www.mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=56&topicid=37401 Just post a link here after adding this to the group. Make sure you do both.

Quoting Master Shifu Leo J Nifty use of parts! What's that dark piece on the nose? Is that really "aquamarinish"-colored bricks?
Well, they call it sand-green.

Hey Skiver. What's up? I haven't heard from you in a while. Guess what. I got the Recon CS-6 at Wal*Mart today. In RED! It's available only at Wal*Mart (sorry. I just love those little stars). I posted a pic of it on my Flickr. Check it out: http://www.flickr.com/photos/44296540@N06/4193813800/ Anyway. Onto the MOC. I realy like how you used the spartan armor for the soldier. I made some paratroops. With those old life jackets. And now I made some "Power Miners RMT (Rock Moster Terminators)". Anyway. I hope to see more great stuff from you. Peace out.

Quoting Aidan Bryant Very cool, also what armor piece is he wearing?
Brickforge Space Marine armor. Brickforge.com under armor. They also have the helmets to make a Halo Spartan.
