Krill Hive ship/super carrier
About this creation
The Krill hive ship is the heart of each hive. The alien equivalent of a super carrier this is one most heavily protected ships in the krill fleets. 12 feet of rapid regenerating armor protects these ships, keeping them safe from most ballistic weapons and plasma based weapons. lightly armed they have two anti ship lasers four heavy MALE guns and 40 point defense rotary cannons along the prow of the ship. It has between 2-300,000 fighters on board and is covered with hangar bays to unleash swarms of fighters. The ship is also lined with dispersal pods and can deploy tens of thousands of troops planet side. Each pod carries any number of soldiers depending on the breed of soldiers the pod carries. This ship also houses the krill queen, Making it a capital ship of sorts. This ship is where the queen communicates with the rest of the hive through telepathic link.
statistics:
Length: 240 kilometers
Width: 120 kilometer
Height: 60 Kilometers
Armor:12 feet of rapid regenerative armor.
Armament: 4 Heavy MALE guns, 2 anti ship lasers, 40 point defense rotary cannons.

Though quite large this ship is dwarfed by the Krill central hive, A single planet sized ship that travels through out the galaxy never truly stopping as all of its supplies are brought back to is by the other hives.(I will never build the central hive in micro scale unless some one plans to give eight death star sets for Christmas.ITS NEVER GONA HAPPEN.

Like John said. He had the same problem at first with his BioShips... The trick is to put some work into "scaling up" the ship py presenting smaller vessels around it, and choosing a "plausible" scale, to which the reader can relate by confronting it with other builds he saw. Also, introducing some drawbacks or weaknesses adds some more realism to the description, just as careful detailing adds to the MOC.

Meaning that the appearance of it doesn't seem as powerful as the description would make it. It's a good build and all, but I'm going to agree with Yuri on this one.

Great design, looks really like a bigger thing. A hive ship is an important backbone for the Krill theme. The part problem is known. But if you make a smaller hive microscale, you could make a comparison with another microscale. I'll do something similiar and build a smaller microscale version of Yuris Galamoth class one day, not sure when i'll need it but definately will.

Your best ship so far. Too bad for the "power trip" commentary... the MOC just doesn't live up to it.
