About this creation
I create Custom LegoŽ Minifigs, specifically I have concentrated my efforts on renditions of the 1980's GI-Joe/Cobra action figures. I have seen other attempt this venture and deceided that I could take it a step further. I attempt to strike a similarity between the actual 80's toy and the graphics I apply to the LegoŽ.
Using a vector base program, I create the graphics and print them on a regular ink jet printer, then onto waterslide decal paper. For those that don't know the process, it is brutal. The decal film is impossible to work with if you do not have extreme patients you'll flip out smashing those helpless little Lego's. I hate it when people say, "oh so you put stickers on them?" If it were only that simple. Using Krylon, hairdryer, setting solution, softening solution, Brasso, Exacto Knives, Brushes, Sandpaper, Q-Tips, Tweesers, and patients I am sure anyone who can empathize will greatly appreciate the effort.
