OWNua
A failed Bionicle Farewell Contest entry. ((Warning: Autoplaying Song))
About this creation
Before you look at this, you need to realise this was a failed version, and I made a much better one after photographing it. :)

The Bionicle Farewell Contest on Bionicle Display was started to commemorate the cessation of the Bionicle line. Now it's gone, Harvey and Yuri have set this up as a tribute. This was going to be mine, after Mezagus ended up breaking the rules.

Problem is, this one breaks the rules too! My hand design uses non-bionicle parts. So, I remade him, and the Onua revamp I'm entering now is well over twice the size of this. :)

I kept the original mechanism from Onua Mata.

The MOC has claws, like the original, but these are articulated - much like I did with Brogas. Unfortunately I can't make the design without using non-bionicle pieces. Playsets don't count.

Foolishly, I scrapped this after taking the pictures, so I couldn't fix the problem. I needed the peices for my Neconights Entry on YouTube.

So yeah. This is a little prototypy prototype. Enjoy, and know that I actually HAVE improved this later on. Pics will come shortly after christmas.

Song is Kumo Rocks, a Bionicle original. But surely you guys all know that, don't you?

If you use pneumatic T joints (like Hydraxon did), instead of those system parts, you can enter it :)

I DEFINITELY like this moc. The design is great especially the body structure and concept. He looks menacing! Despite the different colored mask, I think it brings character to this moc.

its a good representation of the origanal however i must be critical as onua was my firt and second favorite set. his body is a little to 'smushed' verticaly and i dont think those 'evil' claws are fittin at all. thhey are to spindly. but i do like that you managed to keep the gear funtion. and that deserves allot

Call me color-schemed to the extreme, but the color completely clashes with the rest of the MOC. Sorry, but it just looks so out of place colorwise.

Quoting John the Imaginative *headbanging in tune with the song.* Far more menacing than the original. This one definitely OWNS! Though the mask looks rather out of place in color.
But dude! This is Onua's Golden Pakari! How can you say it's out of place??
