Rogue Faction, part two
Warnung! Warnung! Vorsicht, Schimpfwörter! Denken Sie an die Kinder! Oh, wie schrecklich!
About this creation
Jingle bells, jingle bells, attention has its price!
I don't care what you have to say, unless you have the cash!
Oh what fun it is to demand bribes on christmas day!

Or something like that.
Another one comes out of the dark like a rabbit-punch to the neck, leaving behind nothing more than footprints and a hefty lawsuit that'll tie up the courts in trivolous-
sorry, my simile seems to have gone off the rails.

I think I did pretty good keeping these completely secret over the time needed to make them. Could've posted it yesterday, in fact, but didn't feel like it.

Expect a monthly update schedule, but there's no guarantees.

If you can't see the pics, here's the brickshelf link: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=413001.

Don't forget that if you ask nicely enough high quality textless versions of all the panels exist!

Dunno what you'd want them for, but they're there.

Incidentally, the german up there supposedly means "Warning! Warning! Caution, swearwords! Think of the children! Oh, how awful!" although, come to think of it, it sounds more like something you'd shout at someone who honked his horn at you on the highway. Schimpfwörter doesn't exactly sound polite, does it?

Following the tradition, there is both a guest appearance and a secret reference in the exact same place in this. It's somewhat subtle, but if you look at each panel long enough you should find it.
If you're reading this Awesome, don't mention the obvious cameo!

Before you complain about the cucumber, I don't have any plain green cylinders. Before you complain about the (expletive) tags, it's funnier this way. Leaves it up to your imagination.

(expletive) your (expletive) (expletive) in a (expletive) (expletive)(expletive) boat (expletive)(expletive) with (expletive) (expletive) doorknob (expletive)(expletive) (expletive)(expletive) skittle (expletive)(expletive) apple (expletive) in (expletive) think (expletive) the (expletive) (expletive) carbon offset (expletive) your (expletive) steak pie (expletive) in (expletive)(expletive)!!

See? Whatever uses you're thinking of for a boat, doorknob, skittle, apple, carbon offsets and a steak pie is very likely far more depraved and horrid than anything I could come up with. If you have an idea as to what that sentence of invective means, please, don't share it with me. I don't want to know what you get up to in your spare time.

Don't forget, if you don't like the swearing and, shall we say, 'adult themes' you read the warning at the top before you read it and therefore don't get to complain.
Not knowing German doesn't count, not in this age of interweb translators!

Quoting Christian Schlichting A great designed car and very rich scenes. The bubbles are horrible to read in that layout but ok, it' worth the pain.
I've improved the layout since then. The more recent installments have the bubble linking line things more or less in a straight line instead of bouncing all over the place.

Thanks. Lately I've been rather big on the arm switching thing.

Oh, and as for the interlocking conversations: I'm trying to get over the feeling that our heroes (and villains) aren't that important, even on a planetary scale. That things around them won't slow down or be any less busy just because a main character is talking there. And, of course, it adds to the feeling of activity; have you ever seen a public area where people WEREN'T doing things and babbling?

Bomb troops? As in, kamikaze foot soldiers, grenadiers, rocket launcher carriers or demolitions engineers?
  January 11, 2010
Ok, but I will use them, though. So, whaddya want your bomb troops to look like?

Quoting Finn C-Q Seems the multiple conversations are not to popular. I am wondering, these fellows, are they high ranking? Can they also be sand green? http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/145696 Can they use these guns?(The ones with fleshy hands) http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4260022
On the MRTV page? No, those are militia from a different planet, in a different system. Well, they could, but Karbala is rather warm. Might not be appropriate clothing for the terrain. Given the amount of trading that happens between systems, it wouldn't be strange. Of course, it depends on the weapon's adaptability, the amount of grit it can handle, how weatherproof it is, all sorts.

Excellently done! Very nice build and a cool story as well. My only complaint is the multiple conversations can get a little confusing. I can't wait for the next installment.

Quoting Awesome-o-saurus The Not-So-Great Cool comic bro, but I was confused by the multiple conversations. Too much for my mind, I still run on a single processor.
Perhaps. They're supposed to be read top-to-bottom, by the way; starting at the top of each panel, the highest text box is the first one and the lowest is the last. Panel wise it's left to right, top to bottom.

Quoting Finn C-Q Long ones. Oh, but I do see how the shot ones are like that one machine gun, in fact, I noticed it way, way back. Oh, these are some superb animations: http://www.flickr.com/photos/gigerbrick/ Well, he has links. Also, he has a Mocpages account, you may reconise.
Well, the AR-40k is the short bullpup one; I haven't got a clue what the long ones are called, how they work or what ammo they fire. The pink hands are supposed to be transparent magazines so the shooter can easily see how much ammo he's got left.

Quoting Christian Schlichting Great rooms and clear photos. YOur characters are talking more than the Gilmore Girls but well, that's te series style.
That's why the panels are so big.
Quoting Finn C-Q Ah, I see. I aussume it is very powerful, despite the small nozzle? Oh, and why is the fleashy mini fig hand used as a ammo clip? I can understand it being used as a doctor's glove, but a ammo clip?
Wait, are you talking about the short ones with the fig hands on the back or the long ones with the hands in the middle?

Quoting Finn C-Q Big comment.
1: AR-40000 bullpup assault rifles, firing a 6.38mm fragmenting anti-personell round. Do a google for 'Tavor' if you want to know more. 2: They do, actually; Imperialist regular infantry issue powered exoskeletons have a low-grade opcam system installed; not much effect on vislight apart from a bit of blurring, but it wreaks merry havoc with autotargeters. 3: Paid maintenance folk, actually. Each and every one (apart from the prisoner) has a PDW hidden in his clothes. 4: Stranded? Well, I picked them because at the time they were the only figs premade for the comic. 5: seacer? Because it's cheaper to fix explosions and the occasional burn damage than to hire new boffins after you P.O. the old ones. I only actually use the expletive tags for the really unpleasant swearwords and for when I want people to put their dirty minds to use.

Let's see... Where to begin? Ah, here we go... 1. How exactly do the guns shown in the first picture(meaning, the infantry on the ground) fire? 2. How come your soldiers lack the camo nessesary for jungle warfare? (Sorta like mine.) 3. Are the guys in the orange getups with red caps prisoners/"social workers"? 4. I noticed that one guy in the jungle outfit looks like the guy on the preiveiw, I am guessing that is part of it, ethinks they are going to go to the guys stranded? 5. Why on Earth would you so, so seacer government have people alowed to mess with chemicals and such, and be called a "seigence club"? Oh, so I assume if you've read this far, you are going to reply? Anywho, that being said, nice moc. I would think, you would write explanitive instead of swearing. Oh, in case you have not noticed, I have spelling of a 5th grader, I think. XD Oh, you should listen to the song; Venus in the morning, because the tune somewhere in the middle is awesome.

Quoting Rusty S. Great job, the sets were perfect and the commentary funny, although not clean. But hey, what's clean and funny at the same time? Nothin'.
Oh, that's good. I thought I might have forgotten to delete the background from a pic or two, or that someone would bring up the fact that the base's corridors are floating in milk.

Quoting Awesome-o-saurus The Not-So-Great Your pictures are extremely large, so much that my browser doesn't like loading them at any decent speed, and the first one is obscured by that little bar that comes down over it.
I know, it's so the text can actually fit in; otherwise, the last panel would be completely unreadable. I know they take time to load, here's the gallery link: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=413001 I'd suggest opening them all up in tabs and doing something else while they load.
