You could have saved yourself by telling Keith your inspiration was Da Lynch Mob's Planet of the Apes album. LOL Fantastic build and idea all around! I love the fact the monkey wrench is being piloted by.....a monkey! Makes perfect sense! |

Keith's judgement over at CSF!
***7)”Spank, The Monkey Goes Bannannas” by Giovanni “Paranoid Android” Seynhaeve
Giovanni my friend your models always crack me up. I’m afraid you’re going to lose your Crazy-Talk award this year because this is funny but not crazy. Of course I love everything about the ship, who wouldn’t love a giant flying monkey-wrench, helmed by a DUPLO monkey. I’m not sure you tried to address the theme of the contest, unless you’re considering the monkey the minority, and the ship a celebration of their place in the future. In any case, great build but you’re going to have to try harder next time, you crazy Belgian. Great title too.***
Wise words from the master. Thanks for having the contest, Keith, and count me in next time!

Even though I've been following the progress of this through the WIP pics, nothing beats seeing it posted in all it's glory! Lee said it best, this is your best work to date Gio! Sorry I didn't get here sooner... vacation and all. Glad it didn't slip under the radar! ~ Chris. |

i think i agree with Mr Drake's declaration of dangerousness (the second half of that sentance would make for a great childrens' book title). that aside, great spaceship. the wrench influence is inspired. some tasty photoshopping, too. good luck!!! |

Now that's some funny stuff! I like the amount of detail on the ship. It could be smoother, but the funny story makes up for that. Btw, how about using a large white piece of paper to take the picture on? ~M
Like a backdrop? Yeah sometimes I use that, like with some of my other creations, other times I'm just lazy. I'm saving money for a better camera, so maybe in the near future you'll get better pics...

Talk about outside the box, this is way way out there dude.
A wrench shaped ship, who'd of thunk it, and it looks quite cool, not to mention the whole comedic angle you have take. Interesting build... |

Hahaha! This is funnier than a barrel full of Kelsos! Um, or something like that... As for political correctness, at least the monkeys are in space and not sitting on the porch. There. I said it. Awesome work and good luck with the contest!~H |

great design. With competition like this, I would at first glance say that I'm "screwed", but "wrenched" might be a better expression. Great job on following all of the rules of the contest, although I'm not sure if using apes/monkeys in place of minorities isn't a bit dangerous itself! No black minifigs, or monkeying around got out of hand? |

This is a tenfold more funny as it's dreadfully politically incorrect! The "wrench ships" are are incredibly well themed, and of course the Space Monkeys theme is bound to get some followers :) |

Haha, what a very cool idea! The shape of the wrench really can't be missed, but it actually does also look like a space ship due to all the greebling. Very nice work. One thing though: I think you've got your monkeys and apes mixed up ;) |
